I am a Master’s student in European Ethnology. I am interested in themes of cultural change, living heritage and environmental humanities. My interests often cut the edges of disciplines and the academia as a whole. Instead, I enjoy experimenting with open, participatory and co-creative approaches to producing academic knowledge.
I currently work as a research assistant at the Human Diversity consortium. In my work, I interpret historical data on Finnish folk culture for the international research community. Originally created by earlier ethnologists, geographers and historians, the data will soon be open and accessible on Github.
